They will perform in a fundraising comedy and music gig. Food, drink and a raffle will feature.

Funds go to local anti-austerity campaigners, IHOOPS, Islington Disabled People Against the Cuts and the Elfrida Society’s entertainment team, the Wild Bunch Club.

The gig is supported by Islington GMB, Islington National Union of Teachers and the Islington Trades Council.

IHOOPS chair, Andy Bains said:

“Protest against injustice is never a waste of time and IHOOPS works as a coordinating group to raise the struggle in Islington against austerity, cuts and privatisation.

“The Accident and Emergency unit at the Whittington would not be there if there had been no protest. IHOOPS is pleased to support this fundraising night of comedy and music as a step in building the movement against this Government.”

Austerity isn’t working, so come and have a laugh while resisting the cuts!
